Pebbles Professional Campus

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pebbles Academy, Mr. MS Inshaf, and the ambassador of Sri Lanka in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia HE Pakeer Mohideen Amza, met on 31st October 2022 at the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to discuss the possibilities of collaborative efforts to provide more employment opportunities in Saudi Arabia for students of Pebbles Academy Professional Campus accredited by Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) in Sri Lanka.
Mr. Sanjeewa Pattiwala, Minister (Commercial), Mr. HW Samantha, Counsellor (Employment & Welfare) at the Embassy of Sri Lanka along with Non-executive Director at Pebbles Academy Mr. ABM Hudha and Mr. MB Azam on behalf of Pebbles Advisory Board take part in this fruitful discussion with the ambassador.
With the COVID-19 pandemic resulting in job losses in many sectors, it has become even more difficult for such students to find gainful employment. Collaborative efforts by the authorities and institutions go a long way in providing more employment opportunities for students.
Pebbles Academy had identified the specific needs of companies in various sectors in overseas and designed training programs accordingly. This would ensure that the students are better equipped to meet the requirements of the companies and are more likely to be hired.
The CEO expressed that the Pebbles Academy is working on a project to provide training for unemployed Sri Lankans so that they can find gainful employment in Saudi Arabia. He stated that the project is being implemented with the support and accreditation of the TVEC.
The ambassador expressed that Embassy is keen and committed to supporting projects that contribute to the development of Sri Lanka. He added that the embassy is collaborating with entities in Saudi Arabia to provide employment opportunities for Sri Lankans in Saudi Arabia.
